Welcome to Garage India. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Garage India mobile application (the "App") and any related services. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.
1. Description of Service
Garage India is a B2B (Business-to-Business) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) utility designed for automotive workshop operators. It provides tools to manage job cards, estimate billing, create invoices, track spare parts inventory, monitor technician workflows, and register appointment logs. Operational data is stored locally on the user's device, while basic workspace settings are synced to our servers.
2. User Accounts and Security
OTP Login: Access to the App requires verification using a mobile phone number via a secure One-Time Password (OTP) process. You must provide a valid phone number belonging to you or your organization.
Responsibility: You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and securing physical access to your mobile device. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your phone number or any other breach of security.
Staff Accounts: If you add staff members to your workspace, you are responsible for ensuring that their login details are accurate and that they comply with these Terms.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Plans: Garage India is a paid SaaS application offering Monthly subscriptions (₹499/month) and Yearly subscriptions (₹5,999/year). Prices are B2B-focused and inclusive of applicable taxes.
Payment Processor: Subscriptions are processed via Razorpay. Subscriptions are billed outside the standard Google Play Billing API, as this is a B2B productivity application managing physical operations, and purchases are facilitated through Razorpay payment links initiated by the user.
Non-Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions do not automatically debit your account without authorization. We will send payment links for renewal towards the end of your billing cycle. Access will downgrade to the free tier if renewal payment is not completed.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
7-Day Refund: We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of your initial payment. If you are not satisfied with the product, contact us at support@ifarmertechnologies.com within 7 days of first subscribing for a full refund.
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your paid billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused days within a billing cycle.
5. Data Ownership and Local Storage Warning
Ownership: You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to all workshop data, job cards, client profiles, inventory logs, and invoice histories you enter into the App.
Local Storage: All primary workshop files and operational records are stored locally on your mobile device. We do not sync these records to a remote cloud database.
Backup Warning: Because we do not store your operational database, we cannot restore your files if you lose your phone, uninstall the App, or format your system. You are strongly advised to perform regular device backups using standard Android/iOS cloud backup features.
6. Acceptable Use and Restrictions
You agree not to use the App to:
Transmit or store fraudulent invoices, tax records, or transaction logs.
Store customer contact details or vehicle records without their explicit consent.
Violate any applicable state, national, or international laws in India.
Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GARAGE INDIA AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses arising out of the use or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. We are not responsible for any data loss caused by device failure, uninstallation, operating system updates, or hardware malfunction.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tamil Nadu, India.
